Refund Policy
Last updated: May 2026 · Please read before purchasing.
Short version: Digital downloads are non-refundable once the file is accessed. If you have a genuine technical problem preventing you from using the software, contact us within 7 days and we will fix it. We stand behind our product.
1. Digital Product Policy
All products sold through this store are digital downloads — software files and documents delivered electronically. Because you receive an immediate copy of the product upon download, the following policy applies:
- Once a download link has been accessed and the file downloaded, the sale is considered fulfilled.
- Refunds are not available on the basis of change of mind after a successful download.
- This is standard practice for digital goods and is consistent with consumer protection law exemptions for digital content that has been delivered.
2. When We Will Refund
We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:
- File not delivered: You paid but never received a download link and cannot access your file after contacting us.
- Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same order due to a technical error.
- Fundamental incompatibility: The software cannot run at all on a standard cPanel/PHP 7.4+ shared hosting environment and we are unable to resolve the issue after working with you. This does not apply to configuration issues, hosting restrictions you introduced, or custom server environments.
3. When We Will Not Refund
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Change of mind after the file has been downloaded
- Inability to use the software due to your own hosting restrictions or configuration
- Purchasing the wrong product (contact us and we may apply the amount toward the correct product at our discretion)
- Requests made more than 7 days after purchase
- Abuse of the download system or license terms
- Issues caused by third-party plugins, customisations, or modifications to the software
4. Technical Support First
Before requesting a refund, please contact us at admin@cwfms.com. Most issues — including installation errors, 500 errors, permission problems, and configuration questions — can be resolved quickly.
We are a small team and we genuinely want our software to work for you. Give us the chance to help before requesting a refund.
5. How Refunds Are Processed by Gateway
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout:
- PayPal: Refunds are initiated through PayPal and typically appear within 3–5 business days. PayPal's own refund processing timelines apply.
- Volet: Refunds for Volet payments are processed through the Volet platform. Typically 3–7 business days depending on your original payment method.
- Wise Transfer: Refunds on Wise payments are made via a return Wise transfer to the account you sent from. You must provide your Wise account details when requesting a refund. Processing typically takes 1–3 business days once approved.
6. Referral Commissions on Refunded Orders
If a purchase that generated a referral commission is subsequently refunded, the associated commission will be cancelled and will not be paid out. If a commission has already been paid out on an order that is later refunded, we reserve the right to deduct the commission amount from the partner's future earnings.
Referral partners are notified by email when a commission is cancelled due to a refund.
7. Partial Credits & Upgrades
If you purchased a lower-tier product and later decide to purchase a higher-tier product, we will apply the original purchase price as a credit. Contact us with both order IDs and we will arrange this manually.
8. How to Request a Refund
Email admin@cwfms.com with:
- Your order ID (found in your purchase confirmation email)
- The email address used at checkout
- A brief description of the issue
9. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, card provider, PayPal, Volet, or Wise before contacting us, your license key will be automatically suspended pending resolution. We will provide the relevant processor with a copy of this policy, your download records, and proof of delivery.
We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before disputing a charge — we are easier to deal with than a formal dispute process.
